Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a RAMS Engineer (f/m) to join our RAMS Engineering Department based in Elancourt, France.

One of the major mission of this department is to ensure that Airbus Space System products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to the state-of-art and the relevant Airbus Defence and Space dependability standards, and that the safety of the products are maintained throughout its whole lifecycle, considering Human Factors and operations.

RAMS engineering (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) at electronic equipment level is a key activity supporting all equipment development and is embedded in the design engineering activities. The Equipment RAMS engineer principal role is to perform RAMS analysis.

You will be expected to carry out Reliability activities in support to the Equipment Design projects/teams in Elancourt. You will be responsible for the RAMS characteristics of the equipment, quantifies the results and recommends improvements to the design, in close cooperation with designers.You will work in an integrated team with the other teams of the department at equipment and system level in Spain, France, UK and Germany.
