Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Simulation Software Development Engineer (f/m) to join our Modelling & Simulation Department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing Simulation Applications. As part of the Simulation Frameworks team, you will be involved in the development and the maintenance of software components offering development and runtime environments for most of the Airbus flight simulation applications.

Your challenges:
To develop the core Simulation Frameworks (development and runtime environments) used in a wide variety of aircraft simulators along the aircraft functions development cycle.
To catch the insights and needs of the end-users and develop solutions in the frame of the continuous improvement of our products.
To continuously maximize our added value and knowledge of the simulation environment means.
To identify trends that could improve our aircraft simulation means and evaluate them to demonstrate their potential.
To propose reliable, competitive, long-lasting and innovative solutions.
To contribute as a major stakeholder in the international/inter-industrial working groups aiming at standardizing the frameworks to operate both virtual and real systems in a test bench.
To act as a major stakeholder in paving the way to a common simulation infrastructure at Airbus Group level, with strong relationships with other simulation frameworks teams in the other business units.
Your boarding pass:
Educated to a 5-year degree level in Engineering.
Young graduate to 3 years experienced
You have technical experience in Software development, using programming languages such as C/C++, and/or Python and/or Java and/or Javascript/Typescript.
You are familiar with software development environment tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bash, ?
You are curious, you want to learn and to evolve in a dynamic team.
You love technical challenges such as identifying, testing and implementing new technologies, innovative ideas and concepts.
You are able to stand back and make quick analysis, in order, for example, to make a rough workload estimate for product evolutions or future new developments.
Negotiation level of English.
French is a plus.
